Everything the System Failed to Tell You About – and Then Profited From
I’ll be honest…our education system is an abysmal failure at preparing people to be savvy spenders, and savers. If you don’t learn some of these things at home by having good financial role models when you’re young, there’s a fair chance the only way you’ll ever learn them is the hard way.
I want to make this page a clearinghouse for a series of posts on “the basics” – call it financial literacy, personal finance 101, whatever. Some of it might seem elementary to a lot of readers, but I know for a fact there are plenty of adults of all income levels that have never thought about some of these things (much less had it laid out for them.)
As I create each post I’ll come back here and link to it, but if you want to see anything specific please leave a comment and let me know!
